I learnt hiragana in 2 hours thanks to this apps. Very easy to learn and remember symbols. Quizz mode is really good as well.

This really can make you learn the basic hiragana in only 1 hour (or even less!). It really helps on that. The only reason it does not receive a full 5 star rating is because this app is deficient with the modified hiragana.

Ive been trying to pick up hiragana without luck for some time. This app is hilarious and educational. My son and I "played" the quizzes for over an hour without realizing it. In that hour we both learned 100% of the symbols. Top drawer app.

This is a great app for learning hiragana. Admittedly it does look a bit childish but the memory tricks they use have taught me almost the entire set in one night. Highly recommended for fast fun learning.

Believe it or not, I can recognize all these characters in 1 hour using this app

An awesome app for the basic 46 Hiragana characters. No explanation for functional marks or diacritics, however, so you will need to go elsewhere for these.

Some bad moments

I have used this app, I dont think it worth more than5 dollars. Only have some very simple and useless sentences. Some cartoon character seems to be helpful in remembering the word but not much. Im expecting more sentences, but they try to get you buy more of their products.

The mnemonic part actually works and its fun, but an extremely annoying ad for the katakana app from the same author keeps popping up randomly interrupting you. For this reason I will never buy anything again from them.

Let me first start off by saying that this app is really effective, in terms of learning the standard hiragana. I love it, however, there one HUGE flaw For $5, I expect an app that is complete in hiragana... but it isnt. On top of the normal hiragana, there is modified hiragana, which is not only critical, but should also be included in my purchase... Yet for some reason, this app only quizzes you on it, it doesnt teach you. This app needs a serious update that covers the modified hiragana with a learning mode, reference guide, and sound effects of all the the letters/symbols/characters outside of the normal hiragana. The same goes for the katakana app

if i pay $5, i expect an apps audio to work, it doesnt, its a language app. what a waste of time and money. iphone6, ios10

This app helped me learn hiragana so much better than any other app or even my teacher could!!!

Really worth it. Made it super easy to memorize. Perhaps make one for Kanji? Thanks!
